Currently our Association has one employed member of staff – our Secretary. All other offices are voluntary. The Association structure looks like this:
The Association of IW Clubs in GB&I holds a National Conference annually to which all members are invited.
Districts have their own Executive Committees and similar offices are mirrored in each Club, thus enabling information to be cascaded down through the organisation in order to reach every Club member. Recently our increased use of technology has made this process faster and easier.
Each District holds its own meetings. District 127 meetings are usually held in November, March and June. We have an evening Assembly in July for all those taking office. All District meetings are open to any member. Each year we hold a Service of Thanksgiving and Rally, usually in September, and this is the occasion when members have the opportunity to meet the Association President.
Each Club arranges its own programme for monthly meetings and selects which charities to support and what services to give.
